By honoring outstanding leadership efforts, the award seeks to harness the power to influence the development towards more value-driven leadership and a sustainably thriving business community.
Torbjörn Eriksson's nomination as a finalist in CEO of the Year 2023 not only acknowledges his personal achievements but also recognises Worklife Group's commitment to promoting values-based leadership and sustainable business practices.
Being a finalist in CEO of the Year 2023 feels honourable. I advocate for an improved organisational model, where we value both people and resources while creating both customer value and economic success. The finalist position feels like an acknowledgement that more people share the belief in the need for this change.
The most rewarding aspect for me as a CEO is seeing people grow, ideas becoming reality, and being part of a collaborative team that collectively delivers results for our clients and their employees. Contributing to others provides real meaning and should be the goal for every company. At the same time, being a CEO can be challenging, balancing vision and market engagement, present and future, and communicating in a way that adds value for different needs. It requires constant awareness of time management, and I strive to live by my own motto: 'We have to slow down to speed up.
